”My goal is to know him and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings, being conformed to his death, assuming that I will somehow reach the resurrection from among the dead.“

(‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬-‭11‬ ‭CSB)

May your intimacy with Jesus be rekindled as you seek his presence.

May the present and future ramifications of the resurrection be revealed to you.

May the Spirit empower you with the same power that raised Jesus from the dead.

May you rest in the arms of the suffering servant.

May his suffering fill your suffering with meaning and perspective.

May you understand the weight and depth of his sacrifice for you.

May you hear the call to live as a living sacrifice.

May you not be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by Christ.

May resurrection power be the unstoppable force that propels you to live in hope today.

”I gave up all that inferior stuff so I could know Christ personally, experience his resurrection power, be a partner in his suffering, and go all the way with him to death itself. If there was any way to get in on the resurrection from the dead, I wanted to do it.“

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬-‭11‬ ‭(The Message)

About Us

Todd and Alicia Yancey met in 2009 at Montreat College. They served together with Young Life and began dating in 2011 while Alicia was living in Jaco, Costa Rica for her college internship. They married in 2012 and a year later moved to Charleston, S.C. to serve at Saint Peter's Church, which has become the sending church for the Yancey's as missionaries. The Yancey's moved to Jaco in June 2018 and continue to raise support for ministry. They both love being with people, drinking lots of coffee, a good book, the outdoors and playing with their two dogs River and Cali.
