It's starting to feel real. We have officially hit the road as of Saturday to visit with family and friends as we prepare to move to Jaco, Costa Rica. We can not express how grateful we are for those who have taken us in and are hosting us a long this journey. We are blown away by God's Church and how He uses His people to love and encourage one another. His Kingdom is present and it has been fun to see Him working in the lives of so many we love. We know that we will leave standing on the shoulders of fierce Jesus followers and Kingdom seekers!

Here is a look at our next month. We would love to see as many folks as we can, so please contact us-- you know we love our coffee and would love to treat you to a cup-of-Joe and share our story!

May 7th- May 11th: Tour de Yancey Numbero Uno | Mrytle Beach -> Wilmington -> Raleigh -> Burlington -> Charlotte -> Home

May 12th: Going Away Party @ Casa de Yancey in Awendaw

May 15th: Renters officially move in and we are officially homeless ;)

May 20th: Brevard

May 28th- May 31st: Silent Retreat

June 5th: Depart for Jaco, Costa Rica

Ways to Support Us

1. Pray

We are still working out some of the travel logistics and are waiting to finalize where we will be living once we arrive. Would you pray for wisdom as as we make decisions and favor as we seek for a long term rental.

2. Financially:

We are currently 40% funded for monthly donations and 47% funded for one-time giving. (Based on a $60,000 yearly salary for us both). Would you prayerfully consider joining our monthly support team? We are committing to at least 3 years of ministry. All donations are tax-deductible and can be given online. Visit our "Support Us" page and click the green tab located at the top of the page.

About Us

Todd and Alicia Yancey met in 2009 at Montreat College. They served together with Young Life and began dating in 2011 while Alicia was living in Jaco, Costa Rica for her college internship. They married in 2012 and a year later moved to Charleston, S.C. to serve at Saint Peter's Church, which has become the sending church for the Yancey's as missionaries. The Yancey's moved to Jaco in June 2018 and continue to raise support for ministry. They both love being with people, drinking lots of coffee, a good book, the outdoors and playing with their two dogs River and Cali.
